How blessed we have been the last two weeks. Our five senses have toured the world.
Anyone else amazed by the virtual travel we’ve seen on TV the last two weeks? Ev and I have never traveled to far-off places, but vicariously, this week we have been to the Sistine Chapel, with Pope Leo, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Syria with our President,…and a week ago to the Taj Mahal with our Vice President. What an amazing world we’ve seen from our little apartment in Palm Bay.
And, with my writers in my You Are Unique group, I have gone back in time and shared their life experiences, their joys, sorrows, lessons learned, and hopes for the future. Their book signing was diminished somewhat by a rainy day, but even that was a blessing. We so need the rain for our parched land. The welcome raindrops refreshed us and the land.
With music, we’ve gone from the Renaissance to the latest tunes by performers here and school concerts. We’ve been truly blessed.
Our taste buds have been sated with Mothers’ Day meals in restaurants and made by Paul and Nancy. What great cooks they are and how they shared their time taken from their busy lives to bless Sherry, Mary, and me.
And flowers and colors and shapes and promises of greater things to come keep us going toward future blessings. I may even find time to write. I have so many more stories to tell.
I am filled with joy as kids’ school year ends and promises of time to spend with our loved ones is coming. God is good all the time, but I just wanted to say my world view is doing just fine right now.

She volunteers and substitute teaches at Covenant Christian School, and serves as a board member of the Best Yet Set senior group at church.
