From my book, “Life-Changing Water,” “What is amazing about the Power of God is that He, unlike us, is so willing to share His control, knowing that we sinful children, will mess up. He knows we value ourselves more highly than we ought to do. He knows we will make poor choices. He knows we cam be tempted by evil, even by good things, which become sinful idols in our lives. Why would He do that? We should remain astonished, with childlike wonder, at what God can do. I think that’s what Jesus meant when he reminded us we must have childlike faith to understand the Kingdom of Heaven. Let’s not muddle up the story or muddy the waters. It’s simple. God is Almighty, God created us, God knows us, God loves us, God forgives us. God redeems us, God shares His power so that we may inherit eternal life from this Amazing Father. Amen.” www.bettyjackson.net.
