While waiting in a doctor’s office this morning, I was subjected to Irish fiddle tunes and other scenes of St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The tunes are lively, fun, and unending. After a while, it’s a little too much for my musical taste, but I find it fun to think that many ethnic groups celebrate in their distinctive ways. It is, after all, a way to show one’s heritage.
