LEAN INTO LENT DAY 32
(Joshua 1: 9) Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord Your God is with You wherever you go.
Remember the first song you learned: “Jesus Loves Me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so!”? This assurance comes to us from passages such as this message to Joshua. Yes, it was meant to strengthen him for the tasks ahead, very real times of possible stress. There are many times in the Bible where angels, God’s messengers, said, “Do not be afraid.” I take that to intend the same message to us, no matter what we are facing in this mortal life. This is what faith and trust are all about. God’s guidance is very real, in every believer’s heart, mind, and soul.
PRAYER: I thank You Lord that I can can take this advice as a blessing for my life’s walk. You have guided me to this place; I can trust that Your protection and guidance, Your very Presence will be with me all my life. The 23rd Psalm says this, and if You said it, I can believe it for my every challenge. Yes, indeed, I want to dwell in the House of the Lord forever. I want my “cup to overflow” with Your blessings. I want the feast prepared for me in the present of my enemies. But most of all, I want You to for shepherd me through this life. Amen.

MY PSALM 330 REJOICING
Almighty Father, Lord of the Universe,
I praise Your marvelous Name this day
For the triumphs of Your creation,
For the benefits of my salvation
Because You made us in Your image,
But far lower than the angels.
I praise You for giving us Your Word
Where You outline the plan of salvation
From before the beginnings of the world
That all would glorify Your Name eternally.
I thank You that even when we sin continuously,
You take us in Your arms with forgiveness
Through the righteousness of Your Son’s work
On the cross at Calvary.
I rejoice in the hope You provide us
To share in Your Perfect Paradise
Where we will worship You in spirit and in truth
And the purity of forgiveness, mercy, love, and grace.
Help us to praise You with timbrel and harp,
With song and dance, with glorious Hallelujahs
To Your Name.
For You are our God, and greatly to be praised.
With saints from all ages, with angels and elders
We will gather at Your throne in magnificent choruses
Singing “Holy, Holy, Holy, Hallelujah to Your Name. Amen.
